Today myself and nine other employees attended a full day course on asbestos awareness and that of working with non licensed Asbestos Containing Materials. For some employees they had actually sat the course before whilst others were attending the course for the first time.
The course covered all the topics I’d expect plus some more and gave staff some additional help with regards to maintaining RPE and educating them on the correct way to fit and remove the masks.
Overall I was very satisfied with the course and the level of interaction between the tutor and my workforce.

We contacted Armco to arrange Cat B training, We had minimal time to arrange the training and Armco were able to meet our needs and visit our office to carry out the training. The trainer had an excellent knowledge in Asbestos and was able to bespoke the course to the needs of our staff. We are very pleased with the service provided by Armco and look forward to working with you in the future.

I’ve recently come across some asbestos pipe that I need to remove, and this day of training gave me not only the information I need to identify the risks with handling this material, but also some practical guidelines on how to carry out the task.
